[Review] Jorubi Aloe Vera Gel

Image
Recently, I went to Sentosa with my friend and we went to Siloso beach to get a spot and started our picnic and just chilling by the beach. We were there around noon and the sun was actually quite scorching. However, the heat only came to us on and off, so we thought we wouldn't get tanned. But yeap, you guessed it - we did get tanned, and even worse, sun burnt. Haha! I didn't even put on any sunscreen or sunblock. I'm dead. Anyway, we enjoyed our time for a few hours at Siloso beach and it got cloudy and started to drizzle. So we headed to the nearby McDonald's to get some drink and enjoyed the air conditioning there. After awhile, we head out and realise that the rain had stopped (very quickly). So we proceeded to Palawan beach this time. We crossed the bridge and went to chill at the small "island" across the bridge. There were no sun anymore then, and luckily, there are waves of sea breeze that keeps us cool. Long story short, we had an unexpected ...

[Review] Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum Ex

I'm not a skincare guru and I do not have the slightest knowledge on what my skin really like and dislike. That is, I haven't really found a holy grail product for myself. Only on rare days would I suddenly have the urge to splurge and spend on high-end luxury skincare (at least to me). Anything above $50 would probably be considered as "expensive skincare". The other time I tried something out of my budget was the SK II treatment essence. However, that was years back during secondary school (I know right) or poly days. I got it as a gift from my parents. If I remember correctly, it was because I kept seeing the advertisement on how they use rice water and call it the 'miracle water'. Tsk, so easily enticed. That was the only period I actually tried it and I did not even use it consistently because at that age, I didn't have any skin concerns YET. As I aged (nooooooo), I unfortunately get adult acne, I'm also not sure whether is it hormonal ...

[Review] Lazada x JBL Audio Surprise Box 9.9 (2018)

Image
Lazada has organised yet another range of surprise boxes for its 9.9 flash sale this year (2018)! (This is not a sponsored post by the way. Also, please do not scroll further if you do not wish to spoil the surprise as I am going to reveal what's in the box.) I have only purchased Lazada's surprise box once during Lazada's 6th(?) birthday. I would say I love this concept as the price is decent and quite a steal I would say! And who doesn't like receiving packages and anticipating what goodies you will receive? I bought the Lazada x Mamonde surprise box previously and I'm super satisfied!! The box was really packed and I feel that my money was well deserved. I didn't get a chance to do a post on it, but I still do have the products and perhaps I will write them in another post. Stay tune! I wanted to get the JBL surprise box then but I wasn't fast enough (oops) hahaha. Partly because I'm not an avid user of Lazada and that was kinda my first time ...

[Review] Innisfree Bija Cica Balm

Image
While Asian beauty products has been a rage over many countries, Korean beauty products has been one of the most raved, be it the don't-know-how-many-steps skincare routine, oil cleansing method, etc.  My sister recently went to Korea, and of course, I had to ask her to get me some stuffs from there! Because come on, how many skin care product is actually considered enough...? And er - socks. After hearing all the rave about this Innisfree Bija Cica Balm among Koreans on Instagram and YouTube, I had to get it! It is sold at a price of 22,000 KRW, which converts to around 27 SGD. Quite pricey for a 40ml tube, but let's test it out! It has a rather simplistic packaging that looks like those typical of Innisfree's products. A nice, clean feel. :) I really like the tube with the small nozzle as I can control the amount I want to dispense so I can spot treat and it's hygienic as well, unlike jar/tub type.   This balm protects skin against externa...

A New Chapter

Hello readers! I've decided to start on a blogging journey without a particular theme or goal in mind. The idea of this blog is just to post whatever I felt like, and whenever I want to, and the topic doesn't matter. I guess that will keep this blog interesting and unpredictable. Of course, because I just started, my blog will look so noob and plain. But not to worry, as I go along I believe I will constantly update and figure out how to use this like a pro to make this blog pretty. Hope you readers will stay by and look out for new posts! Thank you! Love, Pitzzadiary
