[Review] Lazada x JBL Audio Surprise Box 9.9 (2018)

Lazada has organised yet another range of surprise boxes for its 9.9 flash sale this year (2018)! (This is not a sponsored post by the way. Also, please do not scroll further if you do not wish to spoil the surprise as I am going to reveal what's in the box.)

I have only purchased Lazada's surprise box once during Lazada's 6th(?) birthday. I would say I love this concept as the price is decent and quite a steal I would say! And who doesn't like receiving packages and anticipating what goodies you will receive? I bought the Lazada x Mamonde surprise box previously and I'm super satisfied!! The box was really packed and I feel that my money was well deserved. I didn't get a chance to do a post on it, but I still do have the products and perhaps I will write them in another post. Stay tune!

I wanted to get the JBL surprise box then but I wasn't fast enough (oops) hahaha. Partly because I'm not an avid user of Lazada and that was kinda my first time purchasing something from Lazada? So I actually got brain-farted during the checkout and I thought I did checkout, but I didn't.

Alright, all these nonsense aside, I know the purpose most of you guys are reading this now is because you want to know what is inside the box, ok ok I will get on with it.

I was in school when I received a text message saying that I have a parcel in the POPStation! At first I didn't know that I even selected this option, but since it's nearby I guess I'm fine with it. So I collected right away after I ended my school.

I am disappointed, period. I could predict that the number of items inside is probably less than 3. I was thinking perhaps the items within would be more pricey, hence the reduced number of items...? Or so I thought.. The reason why I thought it will be packed with more items is because I actually went to see reviews of other JBL surprise boxes and there is around 4 items in them!

So I opened the box...

Lo and behold, two smaller boxes in the big box. I admit I was not feeling it and felt a little discontented. I had too high of an expectation after the previous surprise box. Haaaaa.

Anyway, these are the two items.

JBL yurbuds FOCUS 300 in Purple

I would probably opt for a return (thankfully I am able to). Actually, the JBL GO seems to be quite decent. I've read reviews and it's really a very small and compact speaker where you can bring it everywhere. Wanted to keep it, but I'm a little put off by the limited products given in the box. Oh well. :( I guess all these surprise boxes are just companies clearing their old stocks.

As for the earphones, I don't see myself using earphones with hooks as I always find it really irritating. Plus, not really a fan of purple. Just a personal preference I guess. :3

I'm not complaining as I understand all these products were gotten at a discounted marked-down price at $29 for these two products. Just that it's not quite what I expected as compared to the other JBL surprise boxes received from the previous batches.
